A small-group coaching cohort for women in ministry who want to grow their leadership, finish what they start, and stop doing it alone.
You spend so much time developing other people. It’s time to invest in your own leadership.
The Women in Youth Ministry Leadership Cohort is a six-month coaching experience for women in ministry who are ready to stop carrying everything alone, lead with greater confidence, and turn one meaningful goal into real progress.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How big is the cohort?
Each cohort is intentionally capped at 12 participants. This keeps the group small enough for deep sharing, while still giving you the benefit of diverse perspectives.
What time will it meet?
First Wednesdays from 1pm to 2:30pm EST from January through June. The dates are January 6, February 3, March 3, April 7, May 5, June 2.
How do I schedule 1:1 coaching calls?
You’ll get access to our coaches’ calendar links to schedule Coaching Calls. We promise flexibility with both classic office hour times as well as evenings.
What if I miss a group session?
Life happens — ministry happens. If you can’t make a group session, you’ll receive a recording of the Zoom and materials. Your monthly 1:1 coaching call will also help you stay on track with your goal so you won’t fall behind.
Will we get to meet in person?
All of our sessions will be virtual, however we will have a meet-up for the cohort at the Women in Youth Ministry Conference! This is why we intentionally provide a free ticket – we hope you’ll have a chance to see each other in person and continue building those relationships.
What if I can’t afford the entire cost?
A small number of partial scholarships may be available. If you would like to request or provide a scholarship, please email heather@womeninyouthministry.com
How does payment work?
You’ll be able to place on the registration whether you’re paying monthly, semesterly, or up-front and by check or card. We will then send a coaching contract attached to an invoice with instructions on how to pay. If you need flexibility based on budget years or anything else, we can accommodate most requests. Reach out to heather@womeninyouthministry.com
How do I redeem the 2027 WYM Conference Ticket?
We will send you a coupon code for the Conference. If you’ve already purchased a ticket to the conference, we will deduct $200 from your total.
Why do coaching through Women in Youth Ministry?
Sure, lots of coaching cohorts exist for people in ministry. However, WYM is known for being an organization that is excellent at both equipping leaders with practical resources and developing rich community.
Who is Women in Youth Ministry?
Our mission is simple: over 50% of youth workers are female, but youth ministry content is dominated by male voices. Our mission is to elevate the voices of women in a male-saturated field. We do this through our Facebook community, blog, podcast, coaching, and our annual conference.
Our Values are:
- Bravery: We believe in boldly confronting norms around church leadership; we encourage women to live into their call and equip them with the tools to do so confidently and capably.
- Safety: We believe that women distinctly need a safe space to be themselves; we foster a space for deep connection without fear of retaliation for what we believe or who we are.
- Diversity: We believe that we are better when we are next to people different from us; we intentionally include women of different denominations, church sizes, races, sexual orientations, and gender expressions both in our community and in leadership.
